65g brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla sugar
145g plain (all purpose) flour
215g condensed milk
30g Maltesers (plus 12-14 extra whole maltesers)
35g white chocolate
~ Blitz the hazelnuts and 30g Maltesers in a food processor until fine.
~ Beat the butter and sugar together until soft. Add the condensed milk, vanilla sugar, flour and the Malteser/hazelnut mixture and mix together until thoroughly combined.
~ Leave in the freezer for around 15 minutes until the dough is firm enough to handle. Take around a tablespoon of dough in your hand, flatten it slightly and place a whole Malteser inside. Cover up the Malteser and then roll the dough until it is a round ball. When all have been done, place back in the freezer for a further 10-15 minutes.
~ Remove from the freezer and roll the balls again to ensure they are nice and round.
~ Blitz all the coating ingredients together until fine and then pour into a bowl. Roll each ball in the coating until fully covered. Place in the freezer for 15 minutes and then store them in the fridge until ready to be eaten. Enjoy!
